Today, November 28, 2016, the Guyana National Bureau of Standards (GNBS) under its Laboratory Certification Programme recertified the Medical Arts Centre Laboratory located in Thomas Street, Georgetown after the laboratory continued to meet the requirements of the Guyana Standard (GYS 170) – General requirements for the operation of a Laboratory. The renewal certificate was presented by Ms. Rodlyn Semple, Head, Conformity Assessment Department of the GNBS to Mr. Andrew Arjoon, Chief Executive Officer of the Medical Facility. Because of this certification, persons requiring medical tests from this laboratory can be assured that the results are accurate and reliable. The GNBS encourages all citizens to use the services of certified Medical Laboratories, every time!
