The Government of Guyana through the Ministry of Business has recognized the need to support economic diversification and exports by strengthening its National Quality Infrastructure (NQI). Training and capacity building of local laboratories is therefore considered important to achieve the goal of ensuring a network of competent and accredited laboratories.
In this regard, the GNBS, during the period July 10 – 14, 2018 is conducting a training workshop on Measurement Uncertainty and Method Validation to meet the requirements of the updated ISO/IEC 17025:2017 standard.
Measurement Uncertainty and Method Validation and Verification Training
The target group for the workshop is representatives of analytical, environmental, food and calibration laboratories responsible for the development and implementation of the laboratory management system.
