HOW CAN STAKEHOLDERS CONTRIBUTE TO THE STANDARDS DEVELOPMENT PROCESS?

Stakeholders, including businesses, consumers and regulators can contribute to the standards development process by:

• Submitting a request to the GNBS for a needed standard.

• Participating willingly in the work of the Technical Committee when asked to do so by the GNBS.

• Commenting on draft standards when these are available for comments.

• Attending public consultation sessions when these are being held.

• Reviewing existing standards and indicating whether the content has to be revised.

• Implementing standards in your operation/business.
