The Guyana National Bureau of Standards is reminding all vendors, shopkeepers and other users of Scales, Masses and Measures that the deadline for the stamping of these devices for the first half of the year is Friday, March 31, 2017.
Unstamped devices can be submitted to any of the GNBS offices or to the various Weights and Measures Offices countrywide.
Inspectors will commence surveillance visits at all markets, shops and other sale outlets, and unstamped devices will be seized and removed after the deadline.
