Dr. Leslie I.R.Persaud Laboratory was awarded its initial certification by the GNBS as operating a laboratory meeting the requirements of the Guyana Standard (GYS 170), “General requirements for the operation of a laboratory”.
This new Certification takes the number of certified laboratories under the GNBS Certification Programme to fourteen (14) and gives citizens seeking medical testing a wider option in accessing reliable test results.
The certificate was handed over by Mr. Al Donavon Fraser, Head of Certification to Ms. Geetamattie Sirpaul, Medical Technologist in the presence of Dr. Leslie Persaud and other staff members.
