WSD Essay Competition

GUYANA NATIONAL BUREAU OF STANDARDS

 WORLD STANDARDS DAY ESSAY COMPETITION

In celebration of World Standards Day (WSD), October 14, 2012 the Guyana National Bureau of Standards (GNBS) is sponsoring an Essay Competition for Secondary School Students. Using a maximum of 1500 words, students are required to complete an essay thoroughly addressing the WSD, 2012 theme “Less waste, better results – Standards increase Efficiency”.

• All essays should be submitted with the student’s name and age and the name of school.The school stamp must be affixed on the entry and the work should be the student’s original work.
• Trophies and prizes will be provided to the first, second and third placed winners of the competition.
