To commemorate World Metrology day wich would be celebrated on Friday, May 20, 2011, the Guyana National Bureau of Standards will be hosting an Open Day for visitors and stakeholders at its Head Office located in the National Exhibition Complex Sophia. The activity will commence from 09:00 h and conclude at 15:00h.
Tour of the various Laboratories would be facilitated to observe some of the testing and calibration procedures utilized by the GNBS and the various metrology services offered by the organisation would be highlighted.
Companies and businesses that submit their devices for calibration on Metrology Day would be entitled to a 10 % discount on the cost of calibration. For further information, please contact the GNBS on:
