Food manufacturers, distributors and other stakeholders from Region #2 participated in a Public Consultation Session hosted by the GNBS to solicit comments on the draft standard “Labelling of Foods – Packages foods – Specifications” before it is finalized as a National Standard. The session was held in the Regional Administration Boardroom, Anna Regina. This standard will guide food producers on the labelling of their products to ensure that consumers are adequately informed about products before purchase and consumption.
